Unique Villa seafront on the Amalfi Coast

The villa is within easy walking distance (700 meters – about 1/2 mile ) of good value for money Restaurants such as Stelluccia, Mezzaluna, Il Rifugio, Il Panorama and a well furnished Mini-market (grocery store).

Its located at the end of a ” dead end road” no traffic, very safe, our villa is one of the very few villa on the entire Amalfi coast where no steps from the parking ares to get into the house are needed.

There is much to do and see on the Amalfi Coast, but at Villa Miragalli, you may be tempted to just spend a lot of time relaxing and taking in the endless views of the Mediterranean and Li Galli Isles, and not go anywhere else!

The nearest beach: Positano – 9 km, Sorrento beaches 7 km.

Nearest Restaurants: Village of Colli di Fontanelle – 700 meters (1/2 mile). Stelluccia ( menu at the villa) free delivery, Mezzaluna (excellent pizza!) free delivery, Il Panorama free delivery and Pick up service.

The nearest bar: La Perla Bar at the Village of Colli di Fontanelle – 700 meters (1/2 mile).

Our tip to have a relaxed vacation is to book a Driver from / to the Airport / Train station / Villa.

Then, if you want we can reserve for you either an executive driver service with personal driver or a car rental.

We can easy arrange for you a private transfer from any airport or city in Italy and bring you to Villa Miragalli.

How to reach the villa by public transportation

1. From the Capodichino Airport in Naples

From the Capodichino Airport in Naples you can either catch a bus that takes you to the village of Sant’Agnello or catch a bus or a taxi for the train station in downtown Naples. There are buses for Sorrento (which stop in Sant’Agnello) at these times: 9.00, 11.30, 13.00, 14.30, 16.30, and 19.00. If you’ll be reaching Sant’Agnello by bus, follow the directions at point 3 below. If you’ll be going to the train station first, please keep reading.

2. From the train station in Naples

At the Train station in Naples you need to take a train called “Vesuviana”. In the station, you should see sign pointing to the Vesuviana ticket office, as well as to the platforms. Take the Vesuviana train to Sant’Agnello, which is one stop before Sorrento.

3. Once in Sant’Agnello.

Reach the bus stop, which is located along Corso Italia – the main road – a few steps from the train station of Sant’Agnello on the right side. You will need to board the minibus that goes to Colli di Fontanelle. Ask the driver to let you get off at the stop called “Belvedere”. In Italian you would ask: “Può farci scendere alla fermata Belvedere dei Colli di Fontanelle?” (“Can you please let us get off at the Belvedere stop in Colli di Fontanelle?”). The Belvedere bus stop is in front of the villa.

Here is the current schedule for the bus that goes from Sant’Agnello to Colli di Fontanelle and back. Please note that the schedule might change at any time without notice, despite our attempts to keep it current.

From Sant’Agnello to Colli di Fontanelle: 07.30 (not on bank holidays), 08.30, 10.00, 11.00, 11.50 (only on bank holidays), 12.30 ( not on bank holidays), 15.00 (not on bank holidays), 16.00, 17.00, 18.00, 19.00 (not on bank holidays), 20.00 (summertime only).

From Colli di Fontanelle to Sant’Agnello: 08.00 (not on bank holidays), 09.00, 10.30, 11.30, 12.55 (not on bank holidays), 15.30 (wintertime only), 16.30, 17.30, 18.30, 19.20 (not on bank holidays), 20.20 (summertime only).

How to reach the villa by car:

From Rome, take the Highway A1 (Roma Sud) Direction Naples.

Pay attention before coming into Naples.You will see a sign “Salerno-Reggio Calabria”. DO NOT follow this sign. Instead, you will see a sign “PENISOLA SORRENTINA & COSTIERA AMALFITANA”. Follow this direction. Once on A3, take the gate “Castellammare di Stabia” and follow the sign “Sorrento or Penisola Sorrentina”, and drive along the SS145 road. After almost 25 KM from the gate, you will reach the village of Piano di Sorrento. At Piano di Sorrento, turn left on Via Cavone, following the signs for Positano. You will start going uphill.

When you rich a big intersection to the Colli di San Pietro, you’ll see the Hotel Royal Hills on your left, please pay attention to an intersection with the signs pointing to Positano and to Via Nastro azzurro.

DO NOT follow the sign to Positano anymore, Rather follow the sign for Via Nastro Azzurro towards Colli di Fontanelle.

You must turn right.

Look at the photo on your right.

Keep driving along the road until (approximately 2 km) until you reach a sign with the name of the village ”Colli di Fontanelle”. This sign is behind a church on your left. Drive about 500m (less than 1/2 mile) and you will arrive in the village. PAY ATTENTION HERE TURN LEFT- even if the GPS will suggest you to keep going straight!

Stop here and look for the restaurant called “Stelluccia”. In front of the restaurant on the opposite side of the road, you should see a secondary road with a sign that points towards “Punto Panoramico Belvedere”.

Look at the photo on your right.

Take this secondary road (Via Belvedere) and follow it for approximately 700 meters. This “cul de sac” road is also called an “end road”. On your right, you should find a spacious parking lot. Next to the lot, there is a big white gate of stones marked by the number 17 and the sign Villa Miragalli on the left column and the Intercom- buzzer on the right column. Ring the bell!
